Domestic voting runs from 08:00 to 17:00 on the same Brasília timetable nationwide. The counting start corresponds to 20:00 UTC on 4 October, or 03:00 on 5 October in Thailand.

The TSE says presidential results begin publication simultaneously for the country and voters abroad. Totals are updated as voting-machine reports reach the electoral authorities and are processed.
