Soup Time Alberta Inc. is recalling French Onion Soup because wheat is missing from its label, according to an October 16 Canadian Food Inspection Agency warning.

Check the label

The affected product has UPC 6 28250 50659 4. The recall covers all codes where wheat is not declared. Distribution is listed as Alberta and online.

Return or discard affected products

People with wheat allergies or sensitivities, celiac disease or other gluten-related disorders should not consume the recalled soup. CFIA also says not to serve, use, sell or distribute it; discard it or return it to the seller.

A consumer complaint triggered the recall. One reaction has been reported. CFIA is investigating and checking removal from sale; further recalls remain possible.
